OECD training program on due diligence for responsible banking and capital markets in the Asia-Pacific Region
Join the OECD’s training programme to hear insights on how to identify, prevent, and mitigate environmental and social impacts linked to financial transactions and investments.
The training programme is specifically designed for financial institutions with operations in Australia, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and Singapore. The programme consists of four online sessions, which are all free of charge. Participants are welcome to attend all sessions or only those that are the most relevant to their enterprise. Those attending at least three sessions are eligible for a certificate of completion.
Program Specifics
Session 1
- Introduction to due diligence and key risks and impacts linked to financial transactions and investments
- Embedding responsible business conduct into policies and management systems
Session 2
- Identifying and assessing adverse risks and impacts in operations, investments and lending portfolios
- Ceasing, preventing or mitigating adverse impacts
Session 3
- Tracking due diligence implementation and results
- Communicating how impacts are addressed
Session 4
- Providing for, or cooperating in, remediation when appropriate
- Key takeaways from the training
